Great movie and a real in-your-face to EON! Take that, you yank bastards! That'll learn you for trying to profit from a movie franchise you have the
rights to!
My very first signature in this messageboard, some 7 odd years ago theorised that James Bond is a Timelord. At last, I now have proof!

I've seen NSNA couple of times earlier since the 1980's, but these thoughts are "new": I just bought the dvd :-)
I was surprised that it had so many "official" traits: one-liners/Q/car-chase/decorative Bond-girls (in the massage parlour). Why they didn't do it
more Flemingish - or like Dr. No/FRWL, more serious and a bit more different from EON productions?
Bond himself was great: a man of action getting older, teaching - not doing. New Secret Service administration: less money, less violence, a bit more
realism there perhaps? Somehow Q's laboratories and budget-cuts remind me of the Thatcher-era in Britain.
And of course Connery knew how to deliver those one-liners. Old Bond was a good choice to make too. Unlike AVTAK - that is a bit embarrassing film to
watch, Moore was not a young man anymore but his Bond was... Actually I now believe that I've watched NSNA more times than Octopussy & AVTAK.
Klaus Maria Brandenauer: one of the greatest movie villains of all times IMHO. He portrayed such a convincing psychopath with his voice and gestures.
Simply chilling, I'd say.
Earlier posts indicate that many of you dislike NSNA because it is not an official movie - has no official trademarks, like the gunbarrel, theme-music
and such. How do you like Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace then?
CR was the first Bond I did't go to see in a theater, or didn't buy home. I only borrowed the dvd from a friend. QoS I haven't seen at all. I feel
that NSNA is more Bond than those latest "officials".

It's not the best Bond movie by far, but not as bad as some say. Yes the early 80's graphics are terrible but it is still kind of entertaining.
Love the cameltoe!!
Bond fan for life
